Pricing starts at $250 for registered doe kids, $150 for bucks, and $100 for wethers ($50 sold with a doe or buck kid). Reservations on breedings are at no cost, they will be first come, first served, and if you want to have any backup selections in order of preference I can do that. It helps if backups are somewhere close to in order of breeding. Once the kid has been born and is healthy and available (I reserve the right to retain any kid), a 50% deposit will hold until weaning at around 3-4 months of age (8-10 weeks for bucklings). The balance will be due at pickup (cash or paypal only please). You will have about 1 month to pick up your kid(s), if not picked up by around 5 months of age, they will be put back on the market and deposit not refunded. I like to give my kids as much time on their dam's milk as possible as it gives them the best health and growth. If for a good reason you need the kid earlier (4H project, etc) I will wean them earlier for you, at 8 weeks minimum, but this is against my advisement.

 

I test all animals for CAE, retesting at the time of yearly pregnancy testing, and all have been negative. If you would like CL or Johnes done, I can send out blood samples at your expense. Those blood tests are much less accurate, and I have never had any indication of those diseases so I believe the cost/benefit ratio to be too high.

 

Kids here will be wormed, given Baycox (coccidia prevention) and their first CDT and booster. I highly recommend worming with moxidectin or valbazen. Safeguard and Ivermectin are often not as effective, especially against barberpole worms. Probiotics will also help with the stress of moving. If you need help finding care information I will be happy to help at any time, and I can send a how-to care sheet home along with what care was given here. I will also have the registration certificate in hand or already sent to you when your kid is ready to go unless being sold unregistered. In some instances, I may need to sell with application for registration instead, but this is not the normal way I do it. Kids will leave here healthy, but once they leave I cannot guarantee their health, although I will help in any way I can. There will be no cash refunds although in certain circumstances I will transfer a deposit/purchase price to another kid of comparable value.
